There are some things in the Wizarding world that I'm not about to elect to get rid of in favour of Muggle technology, but while I enjoy the novelty of writing with a quill, I don't see why we can't just use pens. Bloody well spilled ink all over my duvet.

I really wish electricity didn't go haywire around Hogwarts. Muggle Studies would be far more interesting if we could see their technology in working order.

It's Gilderoy Lockhart's birthday, did you hear? I know I'm a Prefect and I'm not supposed to say this sort of thing, but honestly, he rubs me the wrong way. I'm in the library looking up charms to use on mirrors. It would just be really funny if he couldn't see his reflection for a day. Not his birthday, of course, I'm not that mean, but...
Blimey, I'm mean. I'm horrible. Can I write this off as a character building exercise for him, or is this just plain cruel?

Every Wednesday I ask myself, 'Why did I sign up for dueling club?' I know that I'll enjoy it, and I'll learn some new hexes - always handy when trying to one-up James - and I'll have the best night sleep tonight after all that activity, and yes, it is a lot of fun.
But.
Why did I sign up for dueling club? I hurt just thinking about it.

I don't know why, but when I woke up this morning, I was convinced that today was a Hogsmeade day. I wouldn't have eaten my stash last night if I'd known. The lack of chocolate in my room is nothing short of cruel. Abominably cruel.
